Guitar Lessons…with “VIP” Service!
Tired of "customer service" where you're endlessly on hold, waiting for someone to answer—and then getting little to no satisfaction when someone finally does answer? Tired of products and services being lower quality than you were promised? Tired of prices continuing to rise while customer satisfaction declines? These days it can be hard to find a service provider that really takes care of their clientele; I know, because I also frequently encounter a lot of those things as well.
So I've gone to great lengths to ensure that the experience that someone has with Stephen's Guitar Lessons—whether it's as a prospective client just looking to learn more about what I do, or a client I've had for years*...whether it's a beginner who isn't even sure yet if they really want to play guitar or a long-time player looking to add some new licks to their repertoire—is one where they get:
• lots of flexibility with lessons and packages (I offer online and in-person lessons and the ability to easily switch between the two, plus lots of day/time options and more opportunities for discounts with larger packages than most any other guitar instructor)—and payment options, too
• the ability to get some of the best guitar accessories around (from manufacturers like Dunlop—including their Cry Baby, MXR, Way Huge, Rockman, and other product lines—plus Stringjoy, Gator, String Swing, Hal Leonard, and many others), at prices that only my students can get
• tons of free stuff (opportunities for free lessons and/or merch, plus free music/tab, free audio and/or video recordings of lessons, free music folder for in-person students, etc.)
• confirmation emails of weekly lessons, usually sent several days prior to each lesson (confirmation emails contain music/tab and other lesson-specific info)
• quick and polite responses (and I respectfully won't send out messages late at night or very early in the morning)
• I’m very patient as a teacher, and most students find that I provide a relaxed and comfortable learning environment that is engaging and professional
• access to reasonably priced, music-related merchandise, if any is desired (including t-shirts with graphics geared towards guitarists and musicians in general, plus educational material that's more useful in the practical sense, like instructional posters, music folders, guitar picks, and more)
• and of course, the world-class instruction that you'll get from an experienced and professional player/instructor like me—customized and developed exclusively for each student.
I've been playing guitar for decades—since 1987—and teaching professionally since 2010; I've participated in more than 500 recording sessions and live gigs over the years; I've had thousands and thousands of hours of music instruction over the years from music classes, private lessons (I've taken lessons from some of the best in the business: Dan Mitchell, G. E. Smith—yes, that G. E. Smith—and the inimitable Carol Kaye, as well as the legendary (if you were reading Guitar World or Guitar For The Practicing Musician back in the '80s and '80s, like I was—along with thousands of other aspiring guitarists) Wolf Marshall, and even the powerhouse that is Jeff Matz of High On Fire), and through my own private study; and I've given thousands of lessons (more than 6,500) to hundreds of students (more than 350) in my professional teaching career. I understand the art and science of providing the absolute best in guitar instruction, from the perspective of the student as well as the teacher, and that is what I deliver to my students consistently at every lesson.
