Tired of asking Siri and Alexa to play the songs you like?
Wanna be able to play 'em yourself?
Take charge of your own musical destiny, and learn to play those songs on guitar! I’m Stephen with Stephen’s Guitar Lessons, and I can help YOU become the guitar player you’ve always wanted to be. Never played before? No problem. Been playing for decades? So have I, and with all the experience I have accumulated over those years I feel confident that I’ll have lots to teach you, no matter how long you’ve been a guitarist.
Young or old, beginner to expert, classic or modern, all musical styles and genres, whether you prefer the hottest and most current music or music from the 1800s (or anything in between): I can teach it all, from a predominantly blues-based perspective (including related genres) but with a working knowledge of the key attributes of all common playing and musical styles…so if you want to learn pretty much anything from rock or pop music (or related genres like country, metal, blues, jazz, etc) from any time in the past 100-200 years or so, then I’m well suited for the task. And if you want to incorporate elements of and concepts from other less-common (but still at least occasionally contemporary) styles, like funk or classical or reggae, then I can help you with that, too. But if, for example, you’re wanting to learn traditional flamenco guitar, or something unusual and very precisely defined like that, then I always recommend a specialist…for anything outside of that, though, I can provide the best instruction, the best learning environment, and the best deals.
The folks at those other places may have more fashionable hairstyles and clothing than I do, but that doesn’t change the fact that I can teach circles around them. Experience goes a looooong way, and I have a ton of it—not just playing, but also teaching (hundreds of students, thousands of lessons). Try Stephen’s Guitar Lessons, and see for yourself!
